How long does CHC33021 take at AWT?
From 18 weeks, studying 3 days per week in the classroom (8:30 AM–3:00 PM) plus online learning through AWT’s LMS, followed by a minimum 120-hour work placement.
Is CHC33021 government funded in South Australia?
Yes — eligible South Australians can access subsidised places through Skills SA, with concession fees from $467.50. AWT confirms your eligibility during enrolment.
What checks do I need for placement?
A current National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check (or DHS clearance), HLTAID011 First Aid before placement, plus any additional clearances required by the host facility.
